STOP #1 – Marilyn Elliott’s garden
Enjoy the collection of perennials, whether it’s the sun loving clematis, coreopsis and lilies or the many hostas and heucheras with their display of colourful leaves brightening the shade.
Kim and Steve O’Rourke’s garden
Follow the flagstone path to a peaceful oasis where you can sit and listen to the sounds of nature and enjoy the many specimens of perennials while relaxing in the garden.
Judith and Glenn Rogers’s garden
Lavender Cottage is a certified wildlife habitat with a pond and waterfall. Collections of hydrangeas, peonies, hostas and daylilies fill the garden as well as many native plants. There are fairies everywhere that add to the whimsical charm of the property.
Stop #5 – where Tea is served from 1 – 3 p.m.
Mona and Mario Rea’s garden
The extensive perennial garden is accented by grasses and shrubs, trees and rocks overlooking Cooks Bay, Lake Simcoe. Plants have been carefully selected, and placed to use the minimum amount of water needed.
