Celebrating GardenOntario Week 2016 with a Garden Tour on Sunday, June 12, 2016 with 5 gardens ending with tea served in the last garden.

Lavender Cottage is a certified wildlife habitat with a pond and waterfall. Collections of hydrangeas, peonies, hostas and daylilies fill the garden as well as many native plants. There are fairies everywhere that add to the whimsical charm of the property.

The extensive perennial garden is accented by grasses and shrubs, trees and rocks overlooking Cooks Bay, Lake Simcoe. Plants have been carefully selected, and placed to use the minimum amount of water needed.
