2013 AGM Awards

1-2013 DoopricesThe Annual General Meeting 2014 started as usual with members and guests sitting down to a delicious Pot Luck Supper. Ida Sorensen celebrated her 85th Birthday and had brought a birthday cake to share. Door prizes were given out and Bob Murrell, our photographer was caught without his camera.

2-2013 Speakers and ReportersThen we got down to business and reports for 2014 were given by President Marilyn Elliott, Treasurer Debbie Ryan, Secretary Lucy Valente, Flower Show Show Chair Jenni Murrell and the Arboretum’s Representative and Grounds Keeper Glenn Rogers. Her Honour Mayor Barb Baguley, Past District 16 Director Judith Rogers and District 16 Director Russ Talbot also spoke to us.

Past President Judith Matchett entertained reporters Miriam King from Bradford Times and Jeff Doner from the Innisfil Scope while they waited for dinner to be over.

3-2013 OtherPresident Marilyn Elliott presented Art Harper and Judith Matchett with the President’s Award. Judith and Glenn Rogers received the Original Painting Award by Kathryn Bury and Marilyn showed off the District 16 Helen & Earl Cox trophy for the new Woodland garden in the South Innisfil Arboretum.
